BANANA WALNUT FUDGE 
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. banana, mashed
2 tsp. lemon juice

Cook, stirring to a rolling boil. Then cook stirring, 3 minutes more. Remove from heat, cool 15 minutes without stirring. Beat until thick, creamy, and light in color. Stir in 1 cup coarsely broken walnuts. Turn onto buttered platter. Top with plump, golden walnut halves. Cut in squares.
