MERINGUE SURPRISE | |
2 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 cup sugar 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Combine whites, vanilla and salt. Beat until stiff but not dry. Beat in sugar gradually until stiff and satiny. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300°F until delicately brown (about 25 minutes). Makes 2 dozen. Submitted by: Carrie Cheffro |
