GRANOLA 
4 c. rolled oats
1 pkg. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans (opt.)
1/2 c. sesame seed
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. honey
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped dates or 1 c. golden raisins
Pecans (opt.)

In very large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Combine honey, oil and vanilla and stir into mixture. Mix well with hands. Divide into 2 equal parts and put into 2 jelly roll pans or 2 cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven, stirring occasionally. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and stir in dates. When granola is COLD, stir until crumbly. 9 cups. Keep in air tight container.
