SCALLOPED CORN CASSEROLE 
1 (#2) can corn
1 c. milk
1 c. bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
5 or 6 slices fried bacon
1 sm. onion
1 sm. pepper
Salt and pepper
Buttered bread crumbs for top

Fry bacon - remove from fat. Fry chopped onion and pepper in 2 tbsp. bacon fat. Add corn, bread crumbs, egg, onion, peppers and bacon pieces together and pour into buttered casserole. Cover with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a 375 degree oven until crumbs are brown.
