| SUGAR COOKIES FROM BAKING MIX | |

2 c. Jiffy baking mix 2/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. milk 5 level tsp. soft shortening or oil 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients. Beat vigorously until well blended. Grease baking sheet and drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto it. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove cookies and sprinkle lightly with sugar. | |

I had to add one more tsp of oil and 1 tbsp. of milk to get these to form any kind of "dough". They turned out pretty good but next time I will decrease the vanilla to 1/2 tsp. I also dipped the tops in sugar before I baked them.
