One of the first new recipes I tried as a newlywed and have been making it for 37 years. My husband and, now adult, children still love it. I use Cream of Potato soup instead of vegetable and prefer Jiffy biscuit mix, but it's still a standard in our house!

This is an oldie but a goodie. My mom made it for us kids as far back as I can remember (maybe 50 years). We all loved it and were happy when mom made it and she loved making it because it made us happy. Mom died at 92 last year. My brother made this in her memory last weekend. Tasted as wonderful as ever. Comfort food. (Sometimes we used cream of celery or cream of mushroom).
