PICK-UP CHICKEN STICKS
3 lb. fresh or thawed chicken wings, about 25
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger (optional)

Cut off and discard wing tips. Divide each wing in half by cutting through the joint. Wash and drain on paper towel.

Melt butter in large shallow pan. Mix flour, sesame seeds and salt. Roll chicken pieces first in butter, than in flour mixture. Set aside on sheets of waxed paper. Arrange in single layer in same pan. Bake at 350°F until tender and golden, about 50 to 60 minutes. Put under broiler for 3 to 5 minutes, until crisp.

Serves 10 to 12.
