ITALIAN DELIGHT 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. bulk sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
Pinch garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1 can tomato soup
1 (17 oz.) can tomatoes
1 c. grated cheese

Mix and steam together ground beef, sausage, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. (To steam cook 3 to 5 minutes in covered heavy skillet, until redness disappears from beef.) Do not brown. Add mushrooms with juice. Transfer to greased 2 quart baking dish. Cook noodles and drain, add soup and tomatoes to noodles. Stir well, add noodles and half the cheese to meat mixing well. Sprinkle remainder of cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees until casserole bubbles and cheese is melted, about 30 minutes. Serves 6.
