BIG BATCH FARMHOUSE COOKIES 
2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. salt
4 lg. eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
2 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. chocolate chips
2 c. pecans, chopped

Combine butter, both types of sugar and salt. Cream thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. In separate bowl, combine both flours, oats, baking soda; add to creamed mixture; stir well. Scraping sides of bowl until well blended. Add chocolate chips and pecans; mix well.

Drop dough from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Makes around 12 dozen, so it is aptly named.

Highly addictive, maybe I make my cookies to big, but I didn't get as many as it calls for. I have made this recipe often and always get great reviews for it!!!! Love it!!!
