BIG PEANUT BUTTER SOFTIES | |
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll dough into balls about the the size of walnuts and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. DO NOT FLATTEN! Bake at 350°F about 12 minutes, until cookies is set, but still looks a little undercooked and is slightly cracked on top. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen. Submitted by: Joeanna Jarrett |
