CHICKEN BREAST AND RICE
CASSEROLE
 
6 chicken breasts, skinned
1 c. uncooked rice
1/2 stick butter
2 cans Campbell's French onion soup, made with beef stock, undiluted

Put 1 cup uncooked rice in bottom of square casserole. Dot with butter. Skin and salt and pepper chicken. Place on top of rice. Pour onion soup over all. Cover with foil and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Serves 6.

Oh my! I tried this recipe and it was delicious, but I didn't have the french onion soup so I used cream of mushroom soup. The recipe was simple and easy!!!

Very impressed! Tried this recipe with the French onion Campbell soup and it was delicious. I used 2 chicken breast in a small square glass dish, 1 1/2 cups of rice, dotted butter over rice & 1 can of soup!

I used 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 can golden mushroom. I put one cup water and dried french onion powder on top. Great. I didn't have the french onion.
