DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW
BARS
 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. mini marshmallows
1 c. chocolate chips (milk chocolate)
1 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, nuts, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Spread in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over top. Return to oven for 3 minutes. Cool.

In small saucepan combine chips and peanut butter until chips are melted. Stir in Rice Krispies. Spread on cooled bars. Chill.

Makes 24 bars.
