CARAMELS 
2 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. Karo
1/2 can milk

Boil until forms soft ball in water. Cook 15 minutes. Then add balance of can of milk. Cook until it forms a hard ball in water (1 degree past soft ball on thermometer). Add 1 cup nuts and a little paraffin. Cool and cut.
