YELLOW RICE | |
1 c. rice (preferably Thai or Basmati rice) 1/4 tsp. turmeric 1/4 tsp. grated fresh grated ginger 1/4 tsp. garlic, minced 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 c. onion, chopped Add all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest 10 minutes. Do not remove cover until then. |
