CHICKEN POT PIE
1 (10 oz.) can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup or Chicken or Turkey Pot Pie Soup
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 1/2 cups cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
3/4 cup chicken broth combined with 3 tablespoons flour
2 Pillsbury pie shells

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix soup, vegetables (may use fresh vegetables), chicken, and broth. (The mixture should be somewhat thick.) If only chicken noodle soup is available, it may be pureed in the blender to make a smooth gravy.

Put mixture into the bottom pie shell. Cover with the top pie crust and crimp to seal. Slice a few vent holes in the top.

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Cover pie edge with aluminum foil or a pie shield if it begins to brown too quickly.

Chicken Pot Pie

OMG What a mess!!!! The kitchen, I mean. The wife is gonna kill me. How in the heck can one human being cause such a catastrophic upheaval in a kitchen making one little chicken pot pie. And to add insult to injury, I can't even find the d--- pie I made. I am sure it is here somewhere interred under all this rubble and waste that I created. If anyone sees this chaos they will think I am one of those hoarders so I better call John's Backhoe Services and Waste Disposal. The EPA and the Haz-mat folks might be called in if I don't. I wonder what my wife will say or ( do ) when she sees all their trucks here? I firmly believe that my culinary skills are lacking and my cooking days are over.

Oh well as they say in the Men's Prayer on Red Green:

"I am a man and I can change if I have too, I guess."

I have had to of made this about 7 times now. This recipe is saved in my favourites (bookmarked).

I hate cooking, I just want to say, but I like to make this, except for the mess I make in my kitchen. My husband likes it when I want to cook this, so that is a bonus.

Thanks for the recipe!!

I make this and instead of putting it into a pie shell, I eat it over toast as Chicken a la King. Easy and delicious! I'm making it today!

Oh WOW. I have always been a fan of Chicken Pot Pie, but it was always in a box in the freezer section.

Never more. After baking this outstanding recipe it will be the only way for me to enjoy this meal from now on.

Even better with 1 tsp of Bells Seasoning, dash of salt and pepper. I cook mine on 350°F for 1 hour then I spread some egg whites on top of the crust and put back in the oven for 2 minutes or so until the egg cooks then you have a nice shiny crust.
