PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (pudding in the cake mix) 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1 c. creamy peanut butter 1 c. water 1/3 c. vegetable oil 3 eggs 1/2 c. chopped dry roasted peanuts 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Beat dry cake mix, brown sugar and peanut butter on low speed until crumbly. Reserve 2/3 cup of crumbly mixture. Beat remaining crumbly mixture, water, oil and eggs on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl. Pour batter into pan. Stir nuts into reserved crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over batter. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center, 40-45 minutes. |
