FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 Cups Vegetable Oil
2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
3 Cups Green Apples, uncooked and cubed
2 tsp. Vanilla
3 Cups Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Baking Soda
3/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup Nuts, chopped

Combine oil and sugar; add eggs, apples and vanilla. Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the batter by hand. Add nuts.

Bake in oblong 10x14 pan at 350°F for one hour. If browns to quickly, lower temperature to 325°F.

Dot not grease or flour pan.

Caramel Sauce:

1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tbsp. Flour
1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Water
1 tsp. Vanilla

Cook sugars, flour and water until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Make small holes in cake with toothpick and pour over cake.
