MUDDY RIVER DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

TOPPING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
2 c. milk
1 lg. box instant chocolate pudding mix
1 lg. container Cool Whip

Mix first three ingredients together and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts on top and press into flour mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Mix pudding mix with 2 cups milk and spread over cream cheese. Top with remaining Cool Whip and garnish with chopped nuts or shaved chocolate.
