EASY MIX BREAD | |
2 1/2 c. warm water 2 pkgs. dry yeast 1 tbsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 2/3 c. oil 1/2 c. dry milk 6 c. white flour 1 c. wheat flour Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl. Measure 3 1/2 cups flour into separate bowls. Blend sugar, salt and dry milk. Add oil to yeast and water, then gradually add flour, salt, sugar and dry milk. Blend with mixer on medium speed for 1 minute and on high for 3 minutes. Add remaining flour with spoon. Let rest for 20 minutes. Divide into 2 parts. Roll into rectangle, starting at narrow edge, roll and pinch seams. Place in well greased bread pans. Let raise 1 hour. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from pans and butter tops. Makes 2 loaves. |
