BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
4 eggs, beaten 3 c. milk 16 slices white bread 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated 2 c. cooked ham, diced 1. Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl. Mix well. 2. Butter both sides of all bread slices. Dip each in egg mixture. Place 1 layer of bread in bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. 3. Cover with 1 cup of cheese, all of the ham, the remaining bread, then the remaining cheese. 4. Pour remaining egg mixture over cheese. Refrigerate 24 hours. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking. 5. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 12. |
