BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
6 pieces bread, buttered on both sides with crust removed 1 lb. sausage (not links), cooked & drained 2 c. milk or half & half 6 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. cheese, shredded (Cheddar or Monterey Jack) 13 x 9 inch pan. Layer bread in pan. Mix milk, eggs and salt. Place sausage and cheese over bread. Pour egg mixture over. Refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until set at 350 degrees. |
