BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground sausage 6 slices bread 6 oz. Swiss Velveeta cheese 3-6 eggs, beaten 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper 1 tbsp. mustard 2 1/2 c. milk Nutmeg (optional) Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with bread slices. Saute sausage and drain. Add mustard to meat and place over bread slices. Place shredded or sliced cheese over meat. Beat together eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and nutmeg. Pour this over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Take out of refrigerator, let stand about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes. |
