BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
8 slices of bread (with or without crust - your choice)

Cut into cubes. Place 1/2 of the bread cubes in a large baking dish. Cube 2 packages (8 ounce size) cream cheese (into small cubes). Place on top of bread. Then put the remaining bread cubes on top of cheese.

Beat 12 eggs. Add 2 cups milk and 1/3 cup maple syrup (optional - cinnamon and vanilla can be added). Pour this mixture over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Next Day: Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Optional: Serve with syrup or jam on top. Serves 6 people.
