GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
6 onions, coarsely, ground (4 c.)
10 green tomatoes, ground (4 c.)
1 med. head cabbage, ground
12 green mangos, sweet ground
6 red mangos, ground sweet
1/2 c. salt
6 c. sugar
3 c. cider vinegar
3 c. water
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder

Grind vegetables using coarse blade, sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt, let stand overnight. Rinse and drain. Pour over vegetables and let come to a boil, then simmer 3 minutes. Seal hot in sterilized jars. Makes 8 pints. I heat the sugar, vinegar, water, mustard and celery seed, turmeric, a little before I pour them over the vegetables. I also use all green peppers if I do not have any red peppers. This is delicious.
