PAT'S GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
4 c. ground green tomato
12 ground bell pepper
4 c. ground cabbage
4 c. ground onion
4 ground hot peppers
6 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
4 c. vinegar
2 c. water

Mix ground vegetables. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt. Let set overnight. Rinse and drain. Add other ingredients; heat to boil. Simmer 3 minutes. Seal in jars. Makes 8 pints.
