FRENCH LEMON SQUARES 
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted (1 stick butter and 1/2 stick butter)
1/3 c. confectioners sugar
1 1/2 c. plain flour

Mix and press into pan. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

FILLING:

3 well beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
5 tbsp. lemon juice
Grated rind of lemon
3/4 tsp. baking powder

Mix and pour over crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar when cool.
