SHEPHERD'S PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. can mushroom stems & pieces
1 can sm. sliced carrots
Pinch of paprika & thyme (salt & pepper if needed)
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. mashed potatoes (add a bit of parsley flakes)
Any left over cooked vegetables

Use iron skillet; brown beef with chopped onions and seasoning, bouillon cubes, 1 cup water and soup. Simmer, covered for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except for mashed potatoes. Thicken with flour and water. Pour into casserole dish and spread mashed potatoes completely over the meat. Brown in broiler until potatoes are lightly browned.
