SOUTHERN PEACH COBBLER 
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick REAL butter
3/4 cup milk
2 cans of fruit pie filling (any kind)
8x8-inch square baking dish

Preheat the oven to 350°F degrees.

While the oven is preheating, get a 8x8-inch square baking dish. Once acquired, put 1 stick of REAL butter into the dish, by then the oven should be preheated. Melt butter in the oven.

While the butter is melting, mix your flour, sugar, milk and cinnamon until well blended, by then your butter should be melted.

Add 2 cans of your fruit pie filling to the melted butter and lightly stir in. Then get your batter and evenly pour over your fruit. DO NOT STIR.

Bake in preheated oven for 60-80 minutes. Keep watch of your top crust. If it looks as though it's cooking too fast, place foil on top.

Let cool for about 20-30 minutes, then eat warm. Place additional in the refrigerator.

When fresh fruit is in season, there is nothing like a cobbler made with fresh. Most of us southerners know this. I never use canned anything. Always fresh, or fresh frozen, but never out of a can. This recipe comes out about as fresh tasting as possible, without milling my own flour
