FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE I 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail with juice
1/2 tsp. salt

ICING:

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Stir all ingredients well. Pour into 13"x9"x2" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Pick with fork once you remove from oven. Pour icing over warm cake. Serve with whipped topping.
