CONFEDERATE SLAW 
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
1 head cabbage
2 peppers (1 green, 1 red)
3 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. celery seed or celery salt
1 c. vinegar

Shred cabbage; chop peppers and put to side. (Keep cool until you add other ingredients that make up the following dressing.) 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. flour

Mix; then add eggs and milk. Cook in double boiler; pour vinegar in real slow as mixture cooks. When dressing thickens, add butter and celery seasoning. Take out of boiler and let cool. Pour on cabbage and peppers.
