COLE SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage
Salt to taste
1/2 c. vinegar
4 tbsp. sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tbsp. (heaping) flour
Milk

Grape cabbage, salt to taste and set aside. For dressing, put vinegar and sugar in top of double boiler. Bring to a boil. Break egg into measuring cup and beat. Add flour to egg and mix. Finish filling cup with milk. Add this to vinegar and sugar. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Press brine from cabbage. Stir dressing into cabbage. Chill.
