RICE KRISPIES KISSES | |
2 egg whites, room temperature 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 3 c. Rice Krispies Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line Teflon coated jelly roll pan with waxed paper (grease top of paper). Beat egg whites until frothy on medium to high speed. Add sugar (salt and vanilla may be added now), 2 tablespoons to a time, beating constantly. Continue to beat at high speed until peaks are stiff but not dry. Fold in Rice Krispies and nuts if desired. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes (maybe longer) until dry to the touch. Transfer to wire racks still on waxed paper. When cool, remove from paper. |
