BREAD PUDDING 
1 lb. bread (loaf)
1 qt. milk
Raisins
3 oz. butter (3/4 stick)
Cinnamon
5 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Break up bread and add milk (meanwhile boil raisins for 5 minutes). Mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla to bread mix. Stir and add raisins and put entire mixture into deep baking dish. Cut butter into small pieces and stick into mixture at random. Sprinkle cinnamon and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until knife comes out clean.
