BREAD PUDDING 
2 1/4 c. scalded milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. day old bread, cut into cubes
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins

Add scalded milk slowly to slightly beaten eggs. Add vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

Stir in brown sugar, raisins, and bread cubes. Pour into 8 inch round cake pan, slightly greased. Place pan in large pan on oven rack. Pour hot water into large pan approximately 1 inch deep.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. May be served with whipped cream.
