OLD FASHIONED RICE PUDDING 
4 c. milk
1 c. minute rice
1/4 c. raisins
1 egg, well beaten
1 pkg. (4 serving size) vanilla or coconut cream pudding and pie filling (dry)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Combine milk, rice, pudding mix, raisins and egg in saucepan. Stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice. Pour into dessert dishes or serving bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve warm.

Note: Do not use INSTANT pudding - use pudding and pie filling that needs to be cooked. The only milk to be added is the 4 cups called for in the recipe; do not include milk called for on pudding package!
