MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
3 to 4 qts. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a 2 quart microwave dish. Bring to a boil, then cook on full power for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir in soda. Put popped corn into a brown grocery bag. Pour syrup over popped corn. Close bag and shake. Cook in bag on High in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake and cook 1 1/2 minutes more. Pour into a pan and allow to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
