DANISH COFFEE CAKE 
4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. butter
3 lg. eggs, room temp.
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 cake or pkg. yeast in 1/2 c. warm water

Mix flour, sugar, butter and salt like pie crust. Add BEATEN eggs, mix well. Prepare dough the night before and keep in refrigerator. Roll thin in 6 x 15 inch rectangle. Fill with filling. Lap sides together. Let rise 1 hour. Bake in moderate oven for about 20 minutes or until brown. Frost with powdered sugar frosting. Cut bits of butter over filling or brush on dough with pastry brush. I put cinnamon, crushed nuts, cut up dates, raisins and grate a little apple over filling. Use any filling you like.
