DANISH PUFF COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water

Mash like pastry and spread out on cookie sheet, 12 x 3 inches. 1 c. water 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1 c. flour 3 eggs

Boil butter in water. Remove from heat and add flavoring. Beat in flour quickly to prevent lumps. When smooth, add 1 egg at a time, beating after each. Spread on top of pastry part and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Frost with confectioners' sugar icing and almond or cherries on top.
