DANISH PUFF COFFEE CAKE 
CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
Almond slivers

Mix crust ingredients like pie crust. Form into 2 balls and pat onto large cookie sheet, making 2 (3"x12") strips. Sprinkle with almond slivers.

FILLING:

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour

FROSTING:

1/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
