SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt
1 c. sour cream

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Grease and flour tube pan. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix with creamed mixture.

FOLD in sour cream. (This will be a very thick batter). Mix topping and filling ingredients. Put half of the batter in the tube pan (you will have to spread the mixture). Put half of the topping on t he batter. Put remainder of batter in tube pan, top with remaining topping mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. It will not get brown. DO NOT OVER COOK.
