SHOO-FLY PIE | |
1 pkg. pie crust mix 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 2/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. molasses Prepare pie crust mix according to directions on package. Line a pie plate, fluting a high edge. Combine flour, sugar and cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Measure 1 cup and reserve for topping, and pour remaining crumbs into pie shell. Add soda to water, stir in molasses, pour over crumbs in pie shell. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top. |
