COFFEE CAKE 
BATTER:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp.vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour

Cream sugar with butter, beat in eggs; add remaining ingredients and mix well at medium speed for 2 minutes. Mixture will be thick. Spoon 1/2 the batter in greased tube pan. Pour 1/2 filling over it. Add remaining batter, pour remaining filling over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tbsp. cinnamon
