No Yeast Pizza Dough

I used the baking soda instead. The dough was pretty sticky from my experience. I put the dough in the over for about 5 minutes and it rose a little bit. I then took it out and put my sauce, cheese and other toppings and popped it back in for another 12 or so minutes.

Taste wise the crust isnt very much like pizza crust. That being said though it still tastes good and it works.

Freezes very well!!! I always make twice the amount and wrap the rest in plastic wrap and freeze. I place out at room temp untill soft and roll it on out!

AMAZING! first time making it... used a little more oil and water but kneaded it in the excess flour. I made bite size pizzas and cooked for 5 mins, then took them out to distribute the sauce and toppings - put them back in for 11 minutes and they were perfect! Definitely going to use this recipe more often. Thanks so much!

it rose more than i expected so I think I made it a little too thick...but the actual dough tasted great!

Perfect! I never have yeast on hand and in my search for a yeast free recipe, I found this one. I subbed whole wheat flour and spread garlic butter on the dough before putting it in the oven. I cooked it for five minutes first (using a pizza stone) then added my toppings. I used a strained homemade tomato salsa, baby spinach and cheddar, sprinkle a little salt and back in the oven for 20 more minutes. Perfect!

I really liked this. I'm vegan and I made it with daiya jackstyle vegan cheese thinly sliced over piazza sauce with spinach sprinkled on. I did use whole wheat flour and about 1 1/4 cup water 2 tsp oil. I rolled it out and flattened it more with my fingers and knuckles. I did brush soy butter and garlic over crust. I also used basil and Itallian seasoning over the cheese. It is like pizza bread but I liked it a lot. Thanks.

I really enjoyed it. I was hungry for pizza and didn't have any pizza dough or yeast. I threw this together in five minutes. After 25 minutes in the oven, the cheese was gooey and golden brown, the crust was browned and chewy, and the flavors were delicious. And it think it cost me about 2 or 3 bucks. Not bad. For the price of a tip for the delivery man, I had pizza for 3 to 4 people. Thanks, Terry. This will be my go to pizza from now on... Roger

Worked out very well! Perfect for us as bachelors without yeast kicking around. Prepared the dough in about a minute and our guests were quite pleased with it. Pizza party made easy!!

Very fast, very easy. Kids liked it. I used it to make a pizza, cinnamon twists, and a calzone. The dough turns out very similar to a biscuit but I thought it was wonderful for a yeast-free dough. :)

Threw all ingredients in my Kenwood Chef, using dough hook, and mixed on max speed for a good 5 minutes at least.

Wasn't completely sure of quantities as never measured in "cups" before! Supposed to use grams and kg in the UK but was taught to bake by my mother in oz! (N.B. as in Ounces not as in The Wizard of, LOL!) Also not sure of temperature as we use degrees C! Also not sure if I was supposed to roll out with a rolling pin or not!!

DESPITE this I was very pleased with the outcome!! Baked for 5 mins then spread with tinned ratatouille, strips of bacon and grated cheese and baked for another 10.

Next time I will definitely roll THINNER and maybe add some powdered garlic to the mixture. Don't believe I would have got such a good result if I had done by hand - the machine on high power is a must.

I think this is what they used to feed people on the Mayflower in 1492. This was seriously not good at all. I was lucky enough to realize that it was waaayy too thick and just cooked it as breadsticks to see how it turned out. It was very heavy and flavorless.
