CHINESE MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
1/4 c. sliced water chestnuts
1/2 c. cold water
2 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper or pimento, chopped
1 sm. can pineapple chunks

Mix ground beef with salt and pepper, chestnuts and water, mix thoroughly. Make 1-inch meat balls, roll in flour and brown in oil. Combine all other ingredients and cook until hot, place meat balls in sauce and let simmer for 10 or 15 minutes.
