BARBEQUE BRISKET | |
4 to 6 lb. brisket (or roast) 1 bottle liquid smoke Salt and garlic to taste 2 chopped onions Worcestershire sauce 6 oz. barbecue sauce Pour liquid smoke over whole brisket. Season with salt and cover with chopped onion. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before cooking, pour off liquid smoke and douse generously with Worcestershire sauce. Cover with foil. Bake at 275 degrees for 5 hours. Uncover, pour barbeque sauce over and bake for 1 more hour. Absolutely wonderful! |
