DUTCH APPLE CAKE 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apple
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder

Spread in 9x13x2 greased pan.

Beat 2 egg whites until foamy, add 1 cup brown sugar and pour over cake before baking. Bake 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
