PA DUTCH BLUEBERRY CAKE 
1 pt. blueberries
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 pie shell, unbaked

Combine blueberries and lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool. Cream butter, vanilla and egg. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in buttermilk. Dump blueberry mixture into flour mixture. Swirl. Put batter into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Insert toothpick into center until clean.
