BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Melt butter over low heat and blend in sugar then eggs, mix thoroughly. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to butter mixture. Add vanilla and nuts and spread in 9"x12" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
