FAVORITE BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Add to sugar and eggs, beating well. Combine with other ingredients and blend. Pour into greased 8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into squares at once.
