HUNGARIAN GOULASH 
3 lb. beef, cut into chunks
3 tbsp. oil or bacon fat
1 lg. onion
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. paprika
salt and pepper, to taste

Shake beef chunks in paper bag containing flour. Brown chunks in oil or bacon fat. Cut onion into small pieces. Sprinkle over beef and brown with beef. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce to the above. Sprinkle paprika and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about an hour. If sauce thickens too much, add water. Baste from time to time. Serve with Dutch egg noodles or rice.
